"An Honest Mistake" was the debut single by New York City-based American indie/alternative rock band The Bravery. It is also the lead track on the band's self-titled debut album The Bravery. It was released in the UK on February 28, 2005 and charted as high as #7 in the UK Singles Chart. The song was also featured on the soundtrack of the video game Burnout Revenge (as a remix) and MVP Baseball 2005; in MVP, the song is listed as "Honest Mistake". The song is also featured in the video game True Crime: New York City.
